Quality Control Technician

Job Summary
Quality Control Technician performs chemical and physical laboratory testing, and production shift control in alternating weeks to ensure reliable, accurate testing of plant materials and finished products. Duties include analyzing material samples with various procedures and instruments, recording results in databases/spreadsheets, assisting with customer service issues, promoting safety and quality policies, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of data entry and Excel (SAP a plus), ability to drive, strong math and attention to detail, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols. The role supports Amrize North America Inc. and its subsidiaries as an equal opportunity employer within a cement manufacturing setting in Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Field of Study Preferred: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
- 0 - 2 years experience
- Knowledge of Data Entry, Microsoft Word and Excel
- SAP experience a plus
- Ability to drive a vehicle (may drive a vehicle)
- Excellent math skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to prioritize work
- Adherence to safety protocols and PPE use
