Job Summary
Inspect and verify raw materials, packaging components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and customer specifications. Identify, isolate, document, and escalate non-conforming materials while partnering with Production and Quality leadership to investigate and resolve issues. Monitor critical controls including code dates, scale calibrations, metal detection systems, and sanitation checks, supporting FSMA, HACCP, and traceability requirements through accurate recordkeeping. Participate in incident investigations, corrective actions, and environmental monitoring programs, while training team members on quality standards and food safety procedures. This full-time second shift role at our Crown Point, Indiana facility offers a competitive pay range of $21.50-$22.50 and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Commitment to quality and food safety standards
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Full-time second shift position availability
- Location in or willingness to relocate to Crown Point, Indiana
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of manufacturing experience
- Experience within food, beverage, or ingredient manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail
