Job Summary
Calibrate laboratory measurement devices, coordinate third-party equipment calibration, and manage lab material inventories to meet quality system standards. Identify blend nonconformances, document corrective actions, and authorize packaging work orders for finished goods production. Perform incoming and release testing on raw materials, blend samples, and final products, recording results in SAP QM Inspection lots. Complete required documents, maintain a clean work area, and immediately report any defects to the shift supervisor. This 1st shift role supports the Quality Manager and Lead in ensuring compliance with GLP and GMP within a high-volume production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Proficiency with analytical equipment (e.g., viscometers, chromatographs) and laboratory software (LIMS, ELN), and SAP
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting results
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, such as OSHA guidelines and chemical handling protocols
- Ability to maintain accurate, detailed records and analyze results using computer software
- Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours
- Ability to work in fast paced high-volume production environment
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Must have working knowledge of various weights, measures, and be able to perform computations of manufacturer's specifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
