Quality Control Technician I performs quality testing and various laboratory functions in the Quality Control Department, ensuring safety, attending safety trainings, preparing reagents and standards, calibrating equipment, evaluating materials, documenting data, and coordinating finished goods shipments. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs and quality management systems, accurate data recording, and maintaining a clean, organized laboratory environment while supporting continuous improvement and timely task completion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good communication, organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work on diverse projects independently and efficiently
- Good math skills
- Careful attention to detail
- Operate laboratory and general office equipment
- Proficiency in the use of PC hardware and software applications
- Normal/corrected vision and hearing
- Working knowledge of laboratory practices with ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision
