Job Summary
Conduct outbound order inspections per OPS-02, verifying material requirements with quality instruments and maintaining traceability on heat numbers, lot numbers, and serials. Report deficiencies to supervisors and management, then scan and email inspection reports to sales assistants, shipping, and the quality department. Manage service and calibration of all inspection, measuring, and testing equipment while ensuring facility upkeep and continual improvement. Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies. Work the second shift (3:00pm-12:00am) in Houston, TX, supporting Tube Supply's delivery of alloy, stainless, and carbon steel tubes for oil and gas applications.
Required Qualifications

- Experience in steel service center order processing
- Experience in quality inspection and tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Associates/Technical degree or experience in the industry
- Good computer and document-processing ability
- Organized and Detail-oriented
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously
