Job Summary
Quality Control Team Lead overseeing daily final and in-process inspections in a precision CNC manufacturing environment. Lead quality system improvements, develop/process documents, train technicians, manage calibration of hand tools and measuring devices, and coordinate MRB referrals and nonconforming materials documentation. Ensure tool availability (micrometers, calipers, gauges), perform workstation audits, enforce safety, and communicate priorities across shifts while driving changes in quality processes. Requires 3+ years QC experience, GD&T proficiency, strong communication, and US citizenship per ITAR.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Quality Control experience in a precision CNC machining environment preferred
- Strong familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent Communication/Organizational Skills
- Must be willing to learn, adapt, and be flexible
- Possess the ability to implement and manage change
- Strong problem solving/ conflict resolution skills
- Must have strong computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be a US citizen subject to ITAR requirements
- Be personally energetic, positive, and be able to think laterally in order to follow through with reasoned decision making
