Job Summary
Lead quality control activities to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements by facilitating inspections, conducting audits, and investigating nonconformances to identify root causes. Coordinate containment activities for defective materials, provide oversight of third-party sorting providers, and support customer visits and audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction and process stability while operating forklifts and conducting safety observations. Maintain accurate records related to QC inspections and safety, and support engineering changes and process validations. Work Monday through Friday in a warehouse environment, with rotating weekends and overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- WMS and/or SAP experience
- MS Office: Excel, Power Point, Word
- PIC and Material Handling Equipment
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly focused with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Ability to safely use and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs, depending on the location, throughout shift
- Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable
- Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift
- Rotating weekends and overtime may be required
