Job Summary
Lead equipment operators and team members by monitoring worker performance against targets and safety standards. Participate in safety initiatives, assist with training, and facilitate communication between team members and management. Resolve conflicts, ensure adequate training, and carry out SOPs, SWIS, and safety requirements. Operate powered industrial vehicles including forklifts, tuggers, and drive vehicles for loading, processing, and QC tasks. Learn IVELES systems and scanning processes, assist with safety audits, and report issues to management. Lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and work in a warehouse environment for 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of one year of experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in automotive environment
- Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift experience
- Ability to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averaging, and percentages
- Ability to successfully complete in-house forklift certification class and test
- Must maintain certification and take part in recertification based on company Standard Operating Procedures
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Ability to safely use and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs, depending on the location, throughout shift
- Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly focused with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
