Job Summary
Formulate quality objectives and interpret company philosophy to direct inspection, testing, and evaluation activities. Perform engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with standards and apply statistical process control to evaluate process changes. Decide on vendor acceptance based on quality assurance engineer reviews and investigate customer complaints regarding product quality. Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing to ensure continuous control over materials and facilities while maintaining knowledge of government and industry codes. Design and implement training programs for key personnel and play an active role on quality management teams. This role requires a minimum of five years of QC Manager experience and a driver's license. The position is located in North Slope, AK, and involves rotational scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years QC Manager experience in a related industry required
- Driver's License
- acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- ten (10) years QC Supervisor experience
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
