Job Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor at KENT WORLDWIDE is responsible for overseeing feed production quality, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key duties include communicating with management, enforcing safety policies, conducting training, performing audits, testing incoming ingredients, and managing compliance investigations. The position requires knowledge of cGMPs, food safety regulations, and the ability to lift heavy materials, alongside strong computer and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 55lbs from floor to working height as job requires
- Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
- Computer skills, including the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of Animal Feed current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
- Knowledge of animal Food Safety Plans, Preventative Controls and Hazard Analysis
- Knowledge of Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)
