Job Summary
Conduct daily quality control inspections for manufactured parts using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and optical comparators to verify conformance to engineering drawings and customer standards. Document inspection results in company databases, review supplier certifications, and communicate findings, nonconformances, and quality concerns to production, engineering, and management. Provide day-to-day leadership to Quality Control Inspectors and Technicians, including training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and safety protocols. Assist in root cause investigations, support corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Graduate of related two-year vocational school program and two years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations.
- Works independently, has a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time.
- Computer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
- Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and concepts.
- Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience programming and/or operating CMMs using PC-DMIS is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience supervising or leading quality personnel in an aerospace, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation.
- Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
