Job Summary
Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced analytical techniques in a GMP environment. Evaluate and document test results while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate out-of-specification results and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to ensure product quality. Maintain strict adherence to GMP regulations, ISO, FDA, and USP standards while utilizing laboratory information management systems. Work independently and collaboratively within the global Quality Control team to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems requirements
- Proficiency in analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, MS, spectrophotometry
- Experience with microbiological and biochemical testing methods
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and investigation of out-of-specification results
- Strong documentation skills and proficiency with laboratory information management systems
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, USP, EP)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal procedures accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related scientific field
- Additional certifications in Quality Control/GMP practices beneficial
- Experience with laboratory automation systems preferred
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles beneficial
