Job Summary
Quality Control Specialist in the dietary supplement industry responsible for ensuring products meet quality and safety standards before reaching consumers. Develops, implements, and monitors QC processes; conducts inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods; maintains detailed quality records; collaborates with production and compliance teams to ensure FDA and GMP regulatory adherence; performs line checks, audits batch records, monitors manufacturing processes, conducts in-process and finished product testing (including potency, purity, dissolution, and microbial testing), ensures traceability through documentation, investigates quality issues to identify root causes, implements corrective and preventive actions, and seeks continuous improvement to enhance product quality and safety. Roles include 1st and 2nd shift responsibilities and emphasize strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and knowledge of industry standards.
