Quality Control/Specialist II - Days (Weekend Shift Fr/Sat/Sun- 6a-6p)

Job Summary
Perform visual and measurement inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods using precision equipment like Coordinate Measuring Machines, micrometers, and calipers to verify technical specifications. Calculate distances, angles, and thread data while reading complex technical drawings to ensure products meet tight tolerances before release. Analyze statistical data with SPC software to maintain quality reliability, troubleshoot equipment issues, and conduct internal audits. Train new employees on inspection tools and GD&T, and direct other inspectors when team leads are absent. Work a 12-hour weekend shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-4 years of applicable product inspection experience
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Possesses intermediate math skills
- Exhibits strong problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills
- Works effectively with a diverse group of people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Has attained qualified status on the use of multiple precision inspection equipment tools in assigned area under limited supervisor, such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, federal gauge, Styre, Talyrond 73, FPI, video scopes, and lighting equipment
- Performs detail oriented tasks using basic language and proficient math skills
- Shift: Weekend Shift Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm 12 hour shifts
