Job Summary
Quality Control/Specialist I responsible for checking, testing and inspecting raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products. Performs routine analyses and tests, compares components to technical specifications, and records results. Uses precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs) and GD&T to accept or reject parts, reads complex drawings, analyzes data with SPC software, and conducts internal audits. Serves as a go-to for quality control procedures, may train other employees on inspection tools/equipment, and collaborates to ensure products meet quality standards before release. Shift: Day shift (4 x 10-hour shifts: Tue-Fri or similar). Education: High School Diploma/GED. Experience: 1-3 years in product inspection. Location: Golden, CO (US). Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of product inspection experience
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with precision inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, microscope, video scopes, masters)
- Ability to read and decipher complex technical drawings
- Strong data recording and reporting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work in a team and train others in inspection tools/equipment and processes
