Job Summary
Quality Control Specialist at General Produce, focusing on ensuring produce leaving the warehouse meets freshness and safety standards. Responsibilities include quality checks, receiving and verification, discrepancy reporting, product control through quarantine/release/traceability, data management in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Produce Pro, adherence to GMPs and SOPs, compliance with allergen and organic policies, and supporting inbound, in-house, backhaul, and return processes to maintain workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1 year quality control experience preferred
- experience in produce handling/warehouse operations or order selection acceptable
- strong work ethic and reliability
- ability to work in a team environment
- safety and accuracy in all tasks
