Quality Control Specialist - Day Shift - Friday to Sunday (6am - 6pm)

Job Summary
Conduct analysis of incoming raw materials and ensure dimensional measurements of parts align with engineering specifications. Complete First Shot approvals of internally molded components and develop, maintain, and review Standard Process Instructions. Collaborate with Quality Engineers to review open deviations and document Test Run Evaluations for new and existing products. Assist with the USC-Texas Calibration Program, TREs, and training programs for Quality Technicians. Provide technical support for QC Technicians using vision systems and contact gaging equipment. This day shift role (Friday to Sunday, 6am-6pm) requires a US Conec Quality Control Technician with an associate degree or two years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a US Conec Quality Control Technician
- Technical associate degree preferred, or minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality role
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- No sponsorship for work authorization will be provided
- Must be available for Day Shift - Friday to Sunday (6am - 6pm)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan tests and analyze and interpret results
- Basic knowledge of standard MS Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of optical fiber, cable, connectors and hardware products
