Job Summary
Quality Control Specialist responsible for inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, identifying defects, and maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities include visual inspections and measurements of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products; performing tests; documenting results; communicating non-conformities; calibrating and maintaining inspection tools; supporting development and implementation of QC procedures; collaborating with production for continuous quality improvements; and ensuring compliance with policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or GED with associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, knowledge of ISO 9001 or GMP is a plus, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, reading blueprints/technical drawings, and good communication and teamwork skills. Work environment involves standing or walking in manufacturing conditions. Compensation listed as $21.00 per hour with benefits including PTO, health insurance, 401k, and employee discount.
