Job Summary
Plan, implement, and oversee quality control and site safety programs on federal construction projects. Develop, implement, and maintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan and the Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP); ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, approved plans, OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1, and company standards. Serve as primary point of contact for quality control and safety matters, coordinating with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, owners, and government representatives. Conduct inspections, coordinate testing and inspections by third-party labs, review plans and submittals, monitor workmanship, identify deficiencies, maintain documentation, participate in meetings, and manage closeout activities. Lead safety meetings and trainings, monitor subcontractor safety performance, investigate incidents, and stop work when unsafe conditions are identified. Coordinate with project managers and government representatives to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and promote continuous improvement in quality, safety, and project performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or Equivalent combination of education, training, and construction experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of construction experience.
- Experience serving as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects preferred.
