Job Summary
Coordinate QC sample inventory, including receipt, handling, shipment, and storage of samples for GMP retention, stability, and external Contract Testing Laboratories. Manage in-process, release, and retain samples while performing data entry for tracking and trending. Follow up with external labs on turnaround times and initiate investigations for out-of-specification results. Maintain accurate records per cGMP and communicate updates to internal teams and management. Requires strong attention to detail, documentation compliance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Entry-level laboratory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years experience in a position requiring strong analytical skills (measurements, math, labeling, working with spreadsheets)
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
