Job Summary
QC / Project Manager for government roofing projects overseeing federal sites. Enforce the Quality Control Plan, manage project lifecycles including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and subcontract management. Serve as liaison between field operations, corporate office, and government stakeholders. Ensure compliance with USACE/NAVFAC and other federal guidelines; direct quality control testing and inspection procedures for commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, metal, and low-slope). Collaborate with superintendents to align daily construction schedules with quality, safety, and project timelines. Oversee submittals and RFIs using government management systems (RMS/QCS); lead stakeholder meetings (owner-architect-contractor alignments) and inspections. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors, monitor buyouts and change orders. Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in construction PM or QC management, strong roofing expertise, federal contracting experience, and preferred USACE/NAVFAC CQM certification.
