Job Summary
Inspect and verify product labeling for compliance with internal and regulatory specifications. Review labels for product name, lot number, Exp. Dates, regulatory and allergen information; ensure labels meet FDA/USDA requirements; approve or reject labels; maintain accurate and traceable records of label inspections; participate in deviation investigations and CAPAs related to labeling; support QA in data collection to improve products and systems; verify food safety and quality checks per HACCP/FSMA programs; utilize Vision System as needed; adhere to GMPs/SSOPs and safety standards; collaborate with QA and site teams to achieve department goals; maintain readiness for manufacturing operations in the KC-Everett Plant with a focus on food safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of related experience in Quality Control
- Good communication skills including computer, writing, and verbal
- Ability to understand and verbalize ideas and instructions
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter with initiative
- Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Willingness to work weekends or overtime as required
- Passionate about food
