Quality Control Planer Mill Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily planer mill operations including scheduling, production, and quality control; supervise and lead a team of mill operators and technicians with a focus on safety and continuous improvement; optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement for supplies; troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance; implement and maintain quality assurance programs to achieve product quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience (2 - 5 years) in a supervisory or management role within a planer mill or similar manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- In-depth knowledge of planer mill operations, equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
