Job Summary
Quality Control Operator responsible for daily QC testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to confirm conformance to specifications and quality requirements. Includes data entry into SAP for traceability and safety training, maintaining safety/environmental standards in the QC lab, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Performs review of analytical data and maintains accurate records in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in analytical chemistry, primarily in a lab setting
- Experience with SAP (preferred)
- Strong following with laboratory procedures
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Email and Teams)
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment with shifting priorities
- Physical ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; wear PPE; work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment
