Job Summary
Quality Control Manager will oversee, facilitate and implement Quality Management System (QMS) for Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES), a division of Yancey Bros. Co. The role includes maintaining ISO 9001-2015 accreditation, processing and filing phase inspection procedures on custom fabricated fuel tanks and generator enclosures, tracking quality metrics (Customer satisfaction surveys, Non-Conformance, Corrective Actions, Safety), tracking continuous improvement cards, setting budgets and managing warranty calls, and traveling to meetings, customer sites and vendors. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in quality control management with ISO 9001-2015, strong accountability and initiative, advanced problem solving, drive and attention to detail. Education/Experience required: Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 years inQuality or related manufacturing roles. Preferred: Quality control management experience and supervisory experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 years of experience in a Quality Role within Manufacturing or related experience within the industry
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015
- Basic Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone
- Ability to read, analyzes, and communicate information - effectively ask and answer questions from customers, employees and upper management
- Communicate to customers, employees and management in a professional and comfortable manner
- Skilled in basic computer applications with required operating programs
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to company standards are required
- Exhibit superior customer service skills, pride and ownership
