Job Summary
Manage the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards while proposing corrective actions to improve compliance. Direct the activities of the quality department, including establishing product specifications, measuring production, and documenting evidence for operational and performance qualification. Lead communication with customers to resolve questions and define corrective actions, while managing a process to address quality issues and report operation performance using statistical processes. Develop plans for the Quality Management System to expand and support business growth, ensuring all customer requirements and process outputs align with current business plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of related work experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards
- Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational and leadership skills
- Knowledge of mathematics, data analysis and statistical methods
- Ability to organize and coordinate schedules
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
- Ability to calibrate precise measurements
- Ability to problem-solve
- Ability to communicate with the public
- Ability to manage other employees
- Ability to travel up to 10%
