Job Summary
Quality Control Manager & SSHO responsible for quality control and safety management on construction projects, developing and administering the Quality Control Plan to ensure contract compliance, certifying submittals, reviewing plans and specifications for met requirements, providing evaluations and QC support to staff and subcontractors, coordinating testing and documentation, conducting inspections and punch lists, and maintaining safety programs. Requires 5 years of construction management experience, QCM-C certification, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and experience managing USACE projects; proficiency with Procore and RMS preferred. The role involves site-based leadership, coordination of safety orientations, weekly safety meetings, accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in construction management
- QCM-C certification
- OSHA 30 certification
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience managing USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) projects
- Proven experience as a QC/SSHO on similar federal projects
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards
- Expertise with safety regulations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Effective communication and training skills
- Experience with Procore and RMS
