Job Summary
Quality Control Manager & SSHO responsible for developing and administering the Quality Control Plan for construction projects in compliance with contract requirements, certifying submittals, reviewing plans/specifications, providing evaluations and QC/SSHO support to staff and subcontractors, coordinating testing, maintaining documentation, conducting safety orientation and weekly safety meetings, coordinating inspections with government personnel, investigating incidents, and implementing safety programs across projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in construction management
- QCM-C certification
- OSHA 30 certification
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience managing USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) projects
- Proficient with Procore and RMS
- Experience as QC/SSHO on similar federal projects
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Effective communication and training skills
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
