Job Summary
Oversee quality control staff and program execution within Schmidt Construction's QC operations. Establish and enforce standard testing, control, and corrective-action processes; generate asphalt mix designs to meet customer specifications; ensure compliance with the R-18 QC Manual; calibrate and maintain equipment; manage sample collection and testing, and document results. Interact with customers, MDOT and government agencies to influence product applications and meet regulatory and project requirements; train employees and customers in technical practices; coordinate supervision of staff and rental technicians; and drive continuous quality improvements across operations.
