Job Summary
Manage the Quality Control department by maintaining Rentex equipment standards, configuring personnel schedules, and delegating tasks to technicians. Evaluate damaged gear, determine repair needs, and facilitate client technical support calls while ensuring all staff adhere to Standard Operating Procedures. Develop training plans, conduct employee reviews, and assist in creating daily routine checklists. Supervise 5-10 employees, hold them accountable for results, and collaborate with management on hiring and discipline. Maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and manage time in time sensitive situations
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with fluid priorities on a daily basis
- Ability to work some weekends, after-hours, and on call as needed
- Possesses 3-5 years' professional experience in AV, rental, or event production
- Strong technical knowledge of a wide range of A/V gear with troubleshooting experience
Desired Qualifications
- Basic networking, GhostCast, SharePoint, PC and Mac OS skills a plus
- Possesses 3-5 years' experience working with audio, broadcast, computer, and video equipment in a production environment
- Possesses experience working with projection systems
- Strong understanding of wireless systems and basic network topology
- Demonstrated leadership/management experience
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management and macro view of workflow
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and manage time in time sensitive situations
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with fluid priorities on a daily basis
- Experience with Rental Tracker Pro
- Project Management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
