Quality Control Manager - Precision Machining

Job Summary
Lead daily quality operations for precision-machined medical device components and assemblies. Review scheduled jobs to verify revisions, specifications, and customer requirements; develop and maintain inspection plans and quality documentation. Perform FAIs, in-process and final inspections; provide technical quality guidance to machinists and production personnel; lead MRB activities and NCR investigations; support ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance through audits and documentation maintenance; train and mentor inspectors on quality procedures. Drive corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements; act as a liaison among Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to uphold a culture of quality.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality experience in precision machining, CNC manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, or a related environment
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs)
- Experience using precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and optical inspection tools
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems
- Previous leadership, supervisory, training, or mentoring experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
