Job Summary
Conduct routine and specialized analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete products using industry-standard methods. Interpret test results, compare findings to established specifications, and make recommendations for product release. Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with all quality standards. Collaborate with production, operations, sales, and technical services teams to identify and resolve production challenges. Develop and implement quality control training programs for production staff. Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities. Stay current with industry trends and regulations to recommend process enhancements. Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians to uphold excellence in concrete products for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Ready Mix Concrete Quality Control management
- Strong understanding of concrete technology, testing methods, and quality assurance best practices
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- experience with quality management software
- Flexible and able to accommodate varying shifts based on scheduled pours, including day and overnight shifts
- Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings
Desired Qualifications
- additional experience in aggregates
- ACI certification
