Job Summary
Lead quality control and food safety across a dairy plant, building and structuring the QC/QA function from the ground up. Develop and implement SOPs, testing procedures, and documentation; oversee sanitation programs, lab operations, environmental monitoring, and pathogen programs; lead SQF certification and HACCP plans; establish KPIs and readiness for audits; train and lead QC staff.
Required Qualifications
- Food manufacturing experience (required)
- Experience building or restructuring a QC/QA department
- Hands-on experience in plant environments
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, Sanitation, GMP, FSMA
- SQF Practitioner experience (or ability to step into the role immediately)
