Job Summary
Develop and draft project-specific Quality Control Plans for vertical construction projects. Perform periodic site inspections by reviewing daily field logs, safety reports, and as-built changes. Operate project management software to interface with submittals and generate documentation for monthly progress payment applications. Coordinate with government personnel and subcontractors to ensure proper QC procedures and maintain accurate records. Direct inspection activities to ensure technical integrity, analyze statistical data to establish quality standards, and interpret QC philosophy for key personnel. Design and implement training programs while applying industry-standard total quality management tools.
Required Qualifications
- 5 Years' experience Quality Control experience in the construction industry
- 5 years' federal government contracting experience
- Experience with overseeing $10,000,000 + vertical project(s)
- Must have current CQM-C and OSHA 30 certs
- Strong technical skills with the ability to manage critical issues as they relate to Quality Control
- Successful completion of a background and DMV record check
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related is preferred
- Experience with construction quality management tools and knowledge of quality guidelines (.i.e. ASME/AWS/ACI/API/ICC) preferred
- Preference will be given to Natives of Kodiak, Inc. Shareholders and Descendants of Shareholders in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g) and Title 42 U.S. Code 2000e - 2(i)
