Quality Control Manager - Dynamic Engineering

Job Summary
Perform independent technical reviews for Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management, Water/Sewer, and Erosion/Sedimentation Control to identify design issues and provide value engineering solutions. Ensure project deliverable quality by verifying code requirements are defined and indicated in design documents. Lead training sessions to foster technical excellence, evaluate staff for training needs, and guide the firm's design and production vision. Manage a small team, improve design tools and processes, and balance workload in a deadline-driven environment. Travel to other offices when necessary. Based in any Dynamic office with flexible arrangements for non-local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- 10+ years' experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential and/or commercial/industrial/office site design and permitting experience)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle
- Familiar with AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop
- Familiar with BlueBeam for mark ups
- In depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process
- Advanced skill level in design capabilities
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Proficient grading and drainage design skills
- Utility design experience including pump station and force mains
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Independent and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work and lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring
- Must be able to travel to other offices when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a plus
