Job Summary
Quality Control Manager to lead all aspects of the concrete QC program. Responsible for designing and optimizing concrete mixtures in accordance with ASTM/ACI standards, managing field inspections and materials testing (slump, compressive strength, air content), verifying regulatory compliance (MNDOT and other standards), developing submittals and EPDs, and guiding a geographically dispersed internal QC team toward continuous improvement and excellence. Requires strong communication to convey technical information to stakeholders, experience leading technical teams, and expertise in concrete QA practices. The role includes lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling (days/nights/weekends), local travel with occasional overnight stays, and a compensation range of $80,000-$105,000 with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership experience leading technical teams
- Proficient in concrete mix design and analysis
- In-depth knowledge of ACI standards and ASTM testing methods
- Ability to oversee submittal processes and EPD development
- PE preferred
