Quality Control Manager

Job Summary
Oversee all quality control and regulatory code programs for the plant, ensuring homes are complete, clean, and in full compliance before certification. Maintain a safe work environment by identifying safety gaps and communicating concerns with plant and operations managers. Assembles cost control and statistical data, approves process specifications, and coordinates training on TQM programs. Strategically manages the quality control workforce, including hiring, termination, and performance coaching. Conduct daily audits across departments to identify root causes of production issues and facilitate remediation actions. Ensures all required approvals and documentation are available, working with design, engineering, and production leaders to resolve gaps. Collaborates with service teams to follow up on problems from sold units and assure resolution. Prepares and controls the departmental annual budget while maintaining a good attendance record.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 40+ pounds
- High school diploma
- Substantial experience in and clear understanding of the requirements and expectations across multiple production areas in a fabrication / manufacturing environment
- Substantial experience in establishing the procedures for quality control inspection

- 5 year's relevant and related quality control experience working in the manufactured home industry
- Experience working in the manufactured home industry
- Bilingual Spanish
