Job Summary
Quality Control Laboratory Technician responsible for supporting the company's quality program, ensuring products meet standards and specifications. Typical duties include monitoring product quality through analytical testing, data reporting, maintaining lab equipment operation, assisting with inventory of lab supplies, following safety procedures and PPE use, and maintaining the sample retention library. The role requires familiarity with wet chemistry and titrations, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn complex instrumentation (ICP, LC, AAS, GC). The position is based in Phoenix, AZ, within a state-of-the-art innovation center, with emphasis on data quality, method integrity, and timely documentation of test results.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with wet chemistry and titrations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to become trained on instrumentation including ICP, liquid chromatography, atomic absorption, and gas chromatography
