Job Summary
Quality Control Lab Technician performs testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods; records test results; analyzes historic data; recommends batch corrections to manufacturing; maintains 5S in the lab; monitors quality concerns and flags issues; handles hazardous materials per PPE protocols; generates basic quality reports and saves records in quality systems; may provide occasional production support; requires high school diploma or GED and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; able to read English instructions, use measurement tools, and lift up to 50 lbs; 2nd shift Mon-Thu 4PM-2:30AM with OT on Fri; benefits include 401(k), health insurance, PTO, and paid parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar
- Ability to read and follow English work instructions
- Ability to learn and use measurement tools
- Comfort in working on your own and to troubleshoot situations within the limits of your training
- Able to present accurate data; not authorized to make decisions on disposition of nonconforming product
- Indoor environment with PPE; able to lift up to 50lbs; ability to sit/stand for extended periods; able to wear respirator
