Job Summary
Conduct quality control testing of all production batches by analyzing pH, viscosity, solids, color, and odor before releasing batches to processing. Perform chemistry analysis, calculate necessary adjustments, and communicate findings to processing teams. Maintain accuracy of laboratory instruments and ensure all test equipment is properly calibrated before use. Document all analysis and maintain laboratory paperwork systems in compliance with cGMP standards. Work 2nd or 3rd shift (2:30pm–10:30pm or 10:30pm–6:30am) in a LEED-certified facility producing hand soaps and sanitizers for global distribution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a field such as chemistry or closely related field
- professional experience that emphasizes quality control techniques and lab testing using HPLC and GC instrumentation in an FDA compliant environment
- ability to complete all paperwork as needed
