Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician will oversee quality programs, ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety records, conducting plant audits, and implementing training. Responsibilities include testing ingredients and final products, documenting operations, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with R&D on new product launches. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong analytical and communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent and experience in the beverage industry is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in quality control testing procedures and internal and external sanitation of beverage equipment
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays
- Must be able to provide own transportation
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years hands-on work experience in the carbonated soft drink industry
- Experience in quality control testing procedures
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of OSHA required training
Additional Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Favorable background and drug exam
