Job Summary
Perform basic and routine assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies in accordance with military, aerospace, and other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal written instructions. Execute advanced soldering, crimping techniques, and connector assembly while utilizing cable assembling hand and power tools such as heat guns, hand crimpers, and screwdrivers. Interpret blueprints, schematics, travelers, and bills of material to ensure work aligns with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4 specifications. Work M-F from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform detail-oriented tasks, including inspection and testing.
- Cable/Harness Assembly in Aerospace and Military Applications
- Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists.
- Basic math and measurements.
- Fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience interpreting design drawings
- Experience with wire and cable harnesses
- Familiarity with standard specifications such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4.
- Certification to the standards IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4.
