Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector responsible for inspecting incoming/outgoing products, performing testing, and conducting audits to verify compliance with policies and practices. Reads blueprints and specifications, measures with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers, documents inspection results, and Accepts or rejects finished items. Removes non-conforming materials, discusses findings with relevant teams, and may conduct internal audits. Requires knowledge of metals and measurement techniques, ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes, and willingness to travel to vendor sites. Works in a manufacturing environment with strong attention to safety and detail.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of metals
- Extensive knowledge of measurements
- Able to drive forklifts
- Able to use overhead cranes
- Knowledge of rigging
- Detail-oriented and able to document results
- Ability to travel to vendor sites for inspections
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, rulers
