Job Summary
Conduct regular and first-piece inspections on parts, components, and materials during production to ensure compliance with exact quality specifications. Perform in-depth audits verifying adherence to internal policies, procedures, and external standards. Identify product defects, participate in root cause analyses, and recommend corrective measures to production staff. Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and communicate results to management while working closely with engineering teams to improve product reliability. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience working as a quality control inspector within a manufacturing setting
- Ability to easily read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good shop math skills
- Strong working knowledge of quality standards and methodologies
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

- Additional technical certifications in quality control
