Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting end mills and form tools to ensure products meet customer and company standards. Key duties include inspecting cutting tools for tolerance, examining tools for proper geometry, approving or rejecting items based on inspection data, and preparing inspection procedures. The role requires strong analytical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with quality management systems, and the ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers. A high school diploma or GED along with 1-3 years of industry experience is needed. A certification in tool and cutter grinding is ideal, but not necessary. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years industry related experience and/or training
- Strong geometry knowledge
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience with hand gauges and non-contact inspection equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a qualified training institution in the field of tool and cutter grinding
