Job Summary
Conduct quality inspections on PCBA assembly and packaging lines, performing audits of quality control programmes and sampling incoming components. Identify and differentiate defects in raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Minimize downtime by reducing production rework and recalls, while assessing draft and final label copy against regulations. Work on shift basis in the SMT environment at Jurong East/Lakeside, reporting to a Supervisor in Singapore.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Secondary education
- 1 year of operator experience in SMT environment
- Work on shift basis or normal shift
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Quality Inspector is advantage (Incoming or In-Process Quality Assurance)
- Inspection on PCBA assembly and able to identify and differentiate defects
- Perform product inspection and audits of quality control programmes
- Perform packaging line and manufacturing inspections
- Sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials
- Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards
- May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labelling regulations
- Minimise down time by reducing production rework and recall
- Knowledge in computer systems and SAP
