Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary
Perform visual, dimensional, and computer-based inspection activities on supplied parts to ensure conformity with Megger requirements, including CMM measurements where needed. Verify goods against purchase orders and technical specifications, then identify, document, and manage non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate quality records, complete SAP transactions, and collaborate with Quality, Purchasing, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. This 3-month fixed-term contract is based in Kent, UK, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Achieved or working towards a Level 4 Quality Practitioner Standard qualification
- Experience or training in metrology, including NPL Level 1 (Measurement User) and/or NPL Level 2 (Measurement Applier)
- Ability to perform manual and computer/machine-based measurement inspections, including CMM measurement
- Working knowledge and experience of quality management system standards, such as ISO 9001
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tools
- Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP quality-related transactions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Not require visa sponsorship to work in the UK
