Job Summary
Aircraft Quality Control Inspector responsible for performing inspections (preliminary, incoming, hidden-damage, in-process, final) on aircraft, ensuring proper documentation and sign-offs, reviewing procedures and drawings, maintaining FOD prevention and tool control, and supporting training and maintenance libraries. Must hold an A&P license with 3+ years on aircraft and 2+ years as a quality control inspector, with knowledge of FAA parts and maintenance record-keeping; travel required to support field and facility activities. Familiarity with Boeing, Gulfstream, and Airbus and experience with engineering drawings, STC instructions, and documentation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Must have a minimum of 3 years A&P experience with at least 3 years’ experience working on Aircraft
- Must have at least 2 years of recent Aircraft Quality Control Inspector
- Must have a working knowledge of aircraft major modifications and documentation requirements and be capable of evaluating multiple platforms and corresponding systems
- Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications as well as provide accurate descriptive feedback either verbally or written
- Must have a working knowledge of FAA Part 43,65,91,135, and 145 including major/minor alteration/repairs
- Must have a working knowledge of maintenance record keeping systems including knowledge of proper logbook entries
- Experience with Boeing, Gulfstream, and Airbus is preferred
- Experience in Completions is preferred
- Must have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to travel as required
