Quality Control Inspector - Level 2

Job Summary
Conduct daily quality inspections of welding, pipeline, facility, and turnaround activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry codes. Coordinate and witness quality testing including NDE, hydrostatic testing, and material verification while maintaining Inspection & Test Plans. Identify non-conformances, assist with corrective actions, and prepare inspection reports and project closeout packages. Participate in client, regulatory, and third-party inspections and audits. This CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector role supports an upcoming turnaround project in Fort McMurray, Alberta, requiring current safety certifications and experience with oil and gas construction.
Required Qualifications
- CWB Welding Inspector Level 2 certification
- Current CSTS certification
- Current WHIMIS2015 certification
- Current H2S Alive certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Experience performing quality inspections on pipeline, facility, industrial, oil and gas, or turnaround projects
- Strong knowledge of welding inspection, construction quality processes, NDE, pressure testing, and material traceability
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CSA, ASME, API, and client quality standards
