Job Summary
Conduct sampling, sorting, measuring, and inspection of incoming components and finished products against blueprints, checklists, and specifications. Label, segregate, and report items failing inspection requirements while preparing necessary inspection reports. Review blueprints to compare with produced goods, determine defect causes, and write reports documenting deficiencies. Communicate inspection results to the department manager and provide corrective suggestions. Ensure all products meet customer expectations. Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining keen attention to detail and strong communication skills. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and ability to use measuring devices like calipers. Must work 5 days a week from 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 5 days a week – 8am-5pm.
- Must be able to read/write in English.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
- Ability to use measuring devices like calipers and measuring tape.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
